A highly successful project completed in October 2008 to double the capacity of this unique Stellenbosch landmark whilst the operation remained live.

The scope included demolition of an existing building, the construction of 20 new bedrooms, doubling the capacity of the signature Flavours restaurant and kitchen and improvements to the hotel`s entrance.


Key were repsonsible for project management that included supporting the owner in determining the business case and feasibility of the project, application for town planning consent use, design management, procurement, delivery of the construction and furniture and fit out coordination.

The project was completed on time for the start of the tourist season even though severely inclement weather hampered progress, the client was delighted with a high quality of design and worksmanship.
